Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Sandra’s Genealogy Services (‘the Service Provider’) and the client (‘the Client’) for the provision of genealogy and family history research services throughout Australia.

Research will be based on the information provided by the Client. While every effort will be made to ensure accuracy, genealogical research may include errors or incomplete data due to limitations in available records.

• All pricing is quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).

• Payment is required in full before commencement of research unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Custom projects will be quoted individually.

• Hourly research rates or set packages will be clearly stated prior to starting.

• All invoices must be paid within 7 days unless otherwise arranged.

All research materials, reports, and charts provided to the Client are for personal, non-transferable use. They cannot be reproduced, published, or resold without written consent.

The Service Provider accepts no responsibility for errors in original source material or for conclusions drawn from incomplete records.

Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and resolved within Australian jurisdiction.

Sandra’s Genealogy Services complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Client information, including family details, contact information, and research data, is collected solely for the purpose of conducting genealogical research.

Information will not be shared or sold to third parties without consent, except where required by law. Clients may request access to, or correction of, their personal data at any time by contacting the Service Provider.

Due to the nature of genealogy research being time-based and reliant on available records, all payments are non-refundable once research has commenced. Refunds are not issued for inconclusive results or unavailable records. Click HERE for more information.

The Client is granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the research materials for private, family, or educational purposes. The Client must not distribute, sell, or reproduce any part of the research without written permission from Sandra’s Genealogy Services.
